LEWES, DEL. (March 8, 2004) Cyclonic Inc. has signed Marlon
Dizon, Inter
Conglomerates, Inc., Manila, Phillipines, and Emmy Mancini, Birdie
Golf Products,
Tewantin, Australia, as a distributors of the 2004 and 2003 Cyclonic
Tour Series
line of golf shoes.
Dizon will be focusing on Manila and the city¹s outskirts,
with future plans to go
nationwide throughout the Phillipines. Mancini will represent the
product throughout
Australia and New Zealand.
³We¹re excited to carry Cyclonics mainly because of the
designs,² said Dizon.
³They¹ve got a trendier look and give golfers another
choice aside from the
conventional golf shoe design. We also cater to a more upscale golf
market in Manila,
with many private clubs. Members want something sophisticated and
a little out of the
ordinary. Cyclonics fit that bill. ²
As well as serving as a distributor, Dizon will be carrying the
shoes in his store
the Golf Gallery and a soon to be opened driving range in Manila.
Mancini will be
targeting golf retailers and pro shops, as well as teaching professionals
and driving
ranges throughout Australia and New Zealand.
³I was looking for a range of golf shoes but didn¹t want
to supply the same as
everyone else, ³ said Mancini. ³Cyclonics are fresh, stylish,
comfortable shoes and
differ from any other brand on the market. Which fits what Birdie
Golf Products is
trying to project Š a company who supplies quality innovative
golf products.²
According to Cyclonic President and Chief Design Officer Cary Hensley,
international distribution is becoming more important to the company¹s
growth plans.
"We¹re pursuing distribution into international markets,
in part because of the
great response from January¹s PGA Merchandise Show," said
Cary Hensley,
Cyclonic president and chief design officer. "Golf is a game
of confidence, no
matter what continent you¹re on when you play. While the Tour
Series shoes are
known for their comfort and stability, the contemporary styles provide
a confidence
on the course so that you not only feel good, but know you look
good, too.²
The Cyclonic Tour Series are high performance golf shoes for twenty-first
century
golfers with a modern sense of style. New styles for 2004 include:
